I’m from London. In London the culture is very similar to the American culture. The fashion industry projects a certain type of beauty. It has to be size 0, it has to be Caucasian, so I think that’s the ideal form of beauty that everyone is trying to obtain so you can’t get away from that. It’s very difficult for black women.
