Remember when Marley Dias launched #1000BlackGirlBooks because she was sick of reading about “white boys” and “dogs”? Well the young book lover has taken things a step further with the release of her first book Marley Gets It Done. The book cover was unveiled via CBS This Morning.

Scholastic Vice President Andrea Davis Pinkney, who edited the book, said it “will share [the tween’s] dynamic wisdom with readers everywhere.”
The book is schedule to go on sale on January 18, 2018.
