Growing up I was painfully shy. I didn’t like talking to people and I didn’t think I was very pretty. I was particularly self-conscious about my eyebrows. Thankfully I grew into them and came to love them (once I discovered waxing ????), but I didn’t really believe I was pretty or beautiful until I stopped comparing myself to others and started accepting me for me, flaws and all. Realizing that you can’t please everyone, so you might as well embrace who you are, that’s when you realize your beauty and your power.
I’m inspired by so many things but one thing always remains consistent: comfort. I believe it’s SO important to be comfortable in what you’re wearing because that will, in turn, make you feel confident as well. So my style really revolves around comfort and classic pieces. I sprinkle in some trends here and there, but I love to keep it simple and effortless. -Kacie, @theprettylittlehustler
