I discovered by beauty and power when I started to be proud of my skin and culture. I grew up in France hating myself because of the way black women were marginalized. I used to hate my blackness as a teen. I really had to do some research and work on myself because I was so tired of pretending. I started to acknowledge my beauty as a black woman.
I really feel like we should all be more inspired by Blackness but especially African culture. That’s my roots and my people. I’m just trying to be myself and make my people proud. I wish every Black woman feels the same. We are so beautiful.
